Career and well-being break

ARPIL 2023 – DECEMBER 2023

  • I took an intentional career break to reset my health and well-being. I spent time travelling, reconnecting with friends and family, gardening, crafting, and tinkering with personal projects including custom SQL databases for my garden, Computer Vision scripts in Python, and a custom website tracking my card collection.

  • Lead the rapidly growing Business Design Analytics team as revenue and headcount doubled. Built custom Power BI tools for managing team growth, utilization, and L&D goals.
  • Scope, develop, and pitch analytics offerings for $5M+ RFPs and potential clients in collaboration with relevant Rightpoint partners (e.g. Change Management, Research, Design, Developers, etc.)
  • Oversee analytics projects across various domains including mobile app, employee experience, and digital/omnichannel experience analytics. In addition to strategic leadership, I provided hands-on support using SQL, Power BI, Big Query, and Google Analytics. Projects supported industries including interstate utilities, theme parks, travel, healthcare, and CPG brands.
  • Design and implement an Analytics training agenda to expand client and project opportunities, balancing technical skills such as SQL and Python with industry trends like AI & ML
  • Direct teams of up to 10 Analysts, Lead Analysts, and Associate Directors on client project work with focus areas including digital experience strategy, omnichannel Product analytics, BI development, automation, and data governance.
  • Using creative and strategic approaches to analytics, my teams won multiple awards in Customer Experience and Product innovation, while improving operational efficiency and reducing costs by over 50%.

  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for measuring and reporting on loyalty program performance to partner banks supporting the largest financial institutions in the U.S. Regularly collaborate with Chief Data Officer to prepare materials for other C-Suite leaders and Senior Bank Executives
  • Design and implement metrics and tests to drive learning goals and consistent growth from 30M to 50M+ MAUs. Studies included large-scale segmentation of 100M+ credit and debit accounts with over $1T in annual spend, A/B testing on Product design, reward value optimization, and brand relevance. Tests informed future strategy, drove increased revenue for advertisers and partner banks as well as increased customer engagement and satisfaction
  • Recommend allocation of $3M+ marketing spend to supplement advertiser offers, increasing customer engagement and attracting new brands to the network
  • Collaborate with other analyst teams to develop company-wide analytics for marketing, optimization, and forecasting using advanced analytics and data visualization techniques
  • Lead a team of analysts delivering unique customer insights to Restaurant brands ranging from small single location brands to global multi-brand restaurant groups
  • Design custom analyses to address client initiatives and oversee Test vs. Control methodology for campaign performance. Insights projects included marketing measurement, market analyses, geographic behavioral maps, customer segmentation and competitive share shift analyses
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales to develop strategy to manage $100M+ in advertising revenue
  • Develop R training program for analysts as company moved away from SAS, significantly reducing technology costs and improving efficiency of standard campaign measurement

  • Consult with 100+ publishing clients to maximize yield through data-driven revenue and customer retention strategies. Clients range from small local papers to large international brands in the US, Europe, and Australia
  • Design & Manage econometric models & reports for clients across various industries including Publishing, State Lotteries, CPG, Job listing and Real Estate sites. Applications included (Re)Acquisition models, Optimal Pricing models, Budget forecasting, Churn probability, Lifetime Value modeling, Customer Segmentation, CSR optimization, and Discount Timing optimization.  Model techniques included linear/multi-linear/logistic regression, survival modeling, A/B testing, PCA, and Factor analysis, with a focus on measurable impacts to optimize limited resources
  • Lead team of 4-5 Analysts and Senior Analysts with a focus on developing autonomy and personalized career growth guidance. Provide strategic direction with clients and assist with report development. Support employee growth through coaching, training, and guided study
  • Develop, launch, and manage industry-wide benchmarking study online. I led focus groups with our industry partner to determine benefits and drawbacks of past studies and built the input template for clients along with the data processing architecture. I used SQL, Ruby on Rails, Github to manage data, performance, & updates and rebuilt the Ruby site in Tableau for greater flexibility as the study evolved
  • Manage company-wide templates and assist in design of new products, improving efficiency and reducing errors across the company as we grew from 10 to nearly 50 employees in under 5 years. I designed the infrastructure to centralize, monitor, and update templates in Github to allow anyone to contribute improvements and share them across the organization
